What’s in a Name?
2nd Saturday: January - May and September - November.
Names in the ancient world did more than simply distinguish one person from another. They often conveyed the essential nature and character of a person. This is especially true when it comes to the names and title of God as recorded in the Bible.
Gather with us for lunch, fellowship, and fun as we explore the names of Jesus who is both the greatest of all Kings; enthroned on high and bends low so that we can come to know Him!
WHAT TO BRING:
>Your Bible and a pen or pencil.
>A dessert or finger food.
>Canned fruit or vegetables for The Blue House.WHAT TO EXPECT:
>Explore a name in English as well as in its original language.
>Examine key passages in which the name is revealed.
>Participate in table and group discussions through a series questions.
>Pray together the name of God for that month.
