Monthly Gatherings
4 Weeks starting the week of November 24 and ending the week of December 22. Self-guided weekly devotional designed to prepare our hearts during Advent and ready ourselves for exploring the Names of Jesus during 2025 monthly gatherings.
Most Christians agree that Christmas is all about Jesus, yet most of us spend little time preparing our hearts to celebrate Him. Why is this? Partly because we don’t know how.
In Unwrapping the Names of Jesus, Asheritah Ciuciu leads readers through the four weeks of Advent (Hope, Preparation, Joy, and Love).
Each week:
>Begins with an inter
active family devotional that equips readers to celebrate Advent together
>Offers five daily reflections that focus on that week's name of Jesus
>Includes suggestions for fun-filled family activities or service projects
This devotional can be used by readers in their own personal worship times or as a tool to engage in family worship during the busy holiday season. Either way, participants will gain a greater sense of awe and wonder at who Jesus is.
By focusing on the person and character of Jesus throughout the Advent season, readers will prepare their hearts so that when they admire the live nativity, sit in the candlelight service, or wake up on Christian morning, they can join the faithful who sing from the bottom of their hearts, "O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord!"
Using the Bible as our guide, we will communicate the truth of Jesus Christ to all people, inviting them to join a loving community of faith, committed to connecting to God in prayer, growing in Christ through Christian education, showing compassion to others, and celebrating the living God.

Practicing the Way – Be with Jesus, become like him, do as he did by John Mark Comer. Led by Cappy Robinson.

We are constantly being formed by the world around us. To be formed by Jesus will require us to become his apprentice.
To live by what the first Christian disciples called a Rule of Life—a set of practices and relational rhythms that slow us down and open up space in our daily lives for God to do what only God can do—transforms the deepest parts of us to become like him.
This introduction to spiritual formation is full of John Mark Comer’s trademark mix of theological substance and cultural insight as well as practical wisdom on developing your own Rule of Life. These ancient practices have much to offer us. By learning to rearrange our days, we can follow the Way of Jesus. We can be with him. Become like him. And do as he did.
